Setting : 

Trinity High School 

( Angel a cheerleader and senior, at Trinity High, is in after school detention, when Mike throws a piece of paper at her to get her attention from the back of class. ) ( Mrs. Williams is reading a book and glances up to tell them both to settle down of they will have to repeat detention again tomorrow.)

Angel: What? ( She smiles while talking.) ( She puts her pen down and closes her notebook.)

Mike: What are you doing tonight after the game?

Angel: I don’t know, why?

Mike: Cause I wanted to come over and you know; Watch some tv with you if we win the game. So, can I come over?

Angel: I guess, my parents are gone for the weekend, so I have the house to myself.

Mike: Cool, are you going to the game?

Angel: No.

Mike: Why?

Angel: I sprung my ankle at practice, so coach told me to stay home and rest it.

Mike: Yea, alright.

Angel: The time?

Mike: Uh? Oh yeah! Around 9, that’s when the game ends. See you then.

( Mrs. Williams checks the clock and dismisses them at 3:45 p.m.) ( They both walk out holding hands and hugging.)

( Friday comes and goes and Brittany gets a call at her house on Saturday.)

Brittany: Hello?

Angel: This is me Angel. ( Angel is breathing hard and her voice is frantic.)

Brittany: What’s wrong?

Angel: Guess what!

Brittany: What?!

Angel: Girl, last night Mike came over and things got out of place between us.

Brittany: What!

Angel: Yeah, and I maybe pregnant.

Brittany: Girl, your parents are going to trip if you are.

Angel: I know and that’s not all; James came over to check on my ankle or whatever after the game and I think he might know something because he was mad and asked me a lot of questions over and over again after, he found Mike’s wallet on my dresser.

Brittany: Girl, what else happened?

Angel: He got mad and left saying, ” I was the right girl for him and I messed up big time; He’ll never forgive me for this and he should’ve known from all of the guys talking about me in the locker room.” He wanted to marry me girl; you know we been friends for so long. What am I going to do?

Brittany: I don’t know, but I had a party at my house last Friday and I got carried away.

Angel: What?!

Brittany: Yep, and guess who was there?

Angel: Who? And it better be not Mike.

Brittany: It was Mike.

Angel: This boy here.

Brittany: That’s not all, Anyways, I got so messed up and somebody from my 5th hour class that I went up stairs with him. I don’t even remember, but I’m scared because I heard he has a STD and you may have it and me.

Angel: Girl, this is scary! Why didn’t you tell me this?

Brittany: Because I was scared. Hold on this is Diamond.

Angel: Ok.

( The phone beeps in and it’s Diamond.) Brittany answers it.)

Diamond: Hey?

Brittany: What’s up?

Diamond: Nothing much, guess what?

Brittany: What?

Diamond: Joe from the football team, Mike, and I think Brandon was talking you and Angel at a party my cousin Josh threw off for the football game victory.

Brittany: Are you serious?

Diamond: Yep, Mike said that he went to the doctor and got tested positive for a STD.

Brittany: Oh my God!

Diamond: What?

Brittany: It’s true, me and Angel messed around with Mike and we might have it.

Diamond: Girl you guys better get tested and see.

Brittany: Ok.

Diamond: Meet me at my house after school on Monday; the both of you.

Brittany: Ok, I had Brittany on hold for about 10 minutes.

Diamond: Ok, bye.

( Brittany beeps back.)

Angel: Who was that?

Brittany: Diamond.

Angel: What did she want?

Brittany: To tell me that Mike has a STD and we might have it.

Angel: Are you serious?

Brittany: Yep.

Angel: We need to get tested quickly.

Brittany: Oh man, this is too much for for me. I should’ve listened to my parents when I had the chance too.

Angel: Me too.

Brittany: Oh yeah, Diamond wants us to meet her at her house Monday after school.

Angel: Ok, I’ll be there; Well, I gotta go.

Brittany: Bye.

Angel: Bye.

( Both hang up the phone.)

( Angel, Diamond, Brittany, and all of their friends meet up to talk at Diamond’s house Monday after school.)

Diamond: Did you guys get tested?

Angel/Brittany: Yes.

Diamond: So, what happened?

Angel/Brittany: We got tested positive for HPV at the hospital.

Diamond: Oh my God!

( Brittany and Angel starts to cry.) ( Diamond and the others support them by hugs and tissues.)

Diamond: You know we are your friends and we will stick with you t’ll forever. Right guys?

All: Yes. ( Not Angel, Brittany. and Diamond.)

Diamond: Well, It’s like my mother use to say, ” Diamonds should be treated with handle , care, and respect.” You guys were violated and it hurts.. That’s why you need to be careful and responsible for your own actions. Tommorow we’ll show Mike ok?

All: Ok, with hugs and laughter.

(Monday comes and their all on the wall waiting at school.)

( Mike and Jas a freshman walks by.)

Jas: Why they looking at us like that?

Mike: I don’t know.

Jas: Hold on a second, I heard this weekend you got two girls, my friend girls in bed. Well, I’m not about to be number whatever in your book. So, bye.

Mike: Hold on a second baby. ( He runs after her.) ( Its too late, she’s all ready gone in the school.) He says, ” Man I messed up.)

( Diamond and the crew walks by withe their heads held high, back arched high, and smiles on their faces they enter into the school right pass Mike whose now mad.)
